# Create Survey

> Create a new customer feedback or NPS survey.

## Description

Creates a new survey in the Birdeye account. Surveys are built from one or more pages, each containing a list of questions. Supports a wide range of question types including text, multiple choice, NPS, and matrix formats.

## Parameters

### Required

| `ownerEmailId` | string | Yes | — | Email of the Birdeye user who owns the survey |

| `minLabel` | string | No | Label for the minimum end of a scale (for `rating`, `nps`) |
| `maxLabel` | string | No | Label for the maximum end of a scale (for `rating`, `nps`) |
| `maxValue` | integer | No | Maximum value for numeric scales |

## Example Usage

Create a 5-question NPS survey called "Post-Visit Patient Feedback" owned by dr.smith@acme.com.

## Notes

* Surveys are created at the account level and are not scoped to individual locations.
* Use [`get_all_surveys`](/mcp/tools/surveys/get-all-surveys) to list existing surveys before creating a new one.
* After creating a survey, use [`update_survey_settings`](/mcp/tools/surveys/update-survey-settings) to configure appearance and access control.
