# Delete User

> Remove a user's access from the business account.

```
delete_user
```

## Description

Removes a user's access from the Birdeye business account. This revokes the user's ability to log in and access the account, but does not permanently delete their Birdeye account.

<Warning>
  This removes the user's **access** from the account — it does not permanently delete their Birdeye account. Confirm with the user before proceeding.
</Warning>

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Default | Description |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `businessId` | string | Yes | — | Enterprise business ID (from `get_business_info → businessId`) |
| `email` | string | Yes | — | Email address of the user to remove |

## Example Usage

```
Remove access for the departing employee old.staff@acme.com.
```

```
Delete user jane.doe@acme.com from the business account.
```

## Notes

* Call [`get_business_info`](/mcp/tools/business/get-business-info) to retrieve the `businessId` if not already known.
* This action removes the user's access to the account — their underlying Birdeye profile is not permanently deleted.
* Always confirm with the user before proceeding with a deletion.
